Line Up Info
May 17
Lineup: The Funny Womacks, Kacey Damaty, Amanda Fitz, Colby Knight & Chris Alan
Host John Rademacher kicks off the night with sharp observational humor honed from his dual life as a schoolteacher and regional comedy favorite. Next up is local comic Kacey Damaty, whose journey from Las Vegas to the Shenandoah Valley—and then onto stages like the DC Improv—brings a unique mix of real-life grit and heartfelt humor. Charlottesville’s Amanda Fitz brings her signature socially awkward sass and wordplay to the stage, reminding us that blunt truths can be hilariously healing. Colby Knight, another Charlottesville standout, serves up clever takes on everything from Hallmark tropes to childhood trauma at a fish hatchery, all while trying to win his dad’s approval one laugh at a time. Wrapping it all up is headliner Chris Alan, a nationally touring comic known for his razor-sharp stories and unpredictable crowd work. With a comedy special produced by Mark Normand and credits alongside comedy heavyweights like Roy Wood Jr. and Michael Che, Chris brings the heat and the heart—don’t miss it.
May 24
Lineup: The Funny Womacks, Steve Fitzgerald, Jen XU, Tyler Rich, Adam Freesman & Mu Cuzzo
Your host for the evening is Dawn Davis Womack—half of The Funny Womacks, founder of Cave Comedy Fest, and the voice behind the Virginia Is for Laughers podcast. Tonight, she’s flying solo with her signature mix of sass and heart. Next up is BBQ pitmaster-turned-comedian Steve Fitzgerald, a fan favorite straight out of FWAF’s comedy classes who’s already smoked the mic at his showcase. Charlottesville’s Jen Xu brings a fresh, funny take on growing up Asian-American, embracing the South, and surviving life with ADHD in a family of overachievers. Tyler Rich, the Florida-born, Crozet-based comic, hilariously navigates life with a disability, rural absurdities, and redneck roots. Baltimore’s Adam Freesman delivers razor-sharp sarcasm and wit that’s made him a Don’t Tell Comedy staple and a multi-time finalist for Baltimore Comedian of the Year. Closing out the night is our headliner Mu Cuzzo, whose journey from hip hop to stand-up has taken him from NYC stages to heart-led storytelling that’s both hilarious and uplifting—don’t miss his return to Massanutten’s stage!
May 31
Lineup: The Funny Womacks, Travis Valle, Abe Mousavi, Heather Joyce & Mark Gregory
The Funny Womacks, Dawn & Chris, open the show with their signature back-and-forth style that combines witty charm, sharp sarcasm, and 25 years of marriage wisdom—plus a few roast-worthy moments. Travis Valle brings his Marine Corps edge and Northern Virginia roots to the mic, mixing dark humor with quick wit and observational takes on life in the Valley. Abe Mousavi, a DC-based comic and veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, delivers clever, compelling comedy drawn from his military service, marriage, and day job as a filmmaker—his sets pack punch and perspective. Then there's Heather Joyce, whose musical comedy and nerdy, risqué humor has landed her on stage with national acts and even at sci-fi cons and elementary schools (not in the same set, we promise). Headlining the night is Mark Gregory, the clean comedy powerhouse and nephew of the legendary Dick Gregory, whose relatable, clever style has landed him on Amazon, TBS, and CBS—his stand-up is heartfelt, hilarious, and refreshingly clean without ever holding back on the funny!
June 7
Lineup: The Funny Womacks, Kyle Remnant, Sarah Ahmed, Taylor Knight & Noah Miller
The Funny Womacks—Dawn & Chris—kick off the show with their coast-to-coast chemistry and a back-and-forth rhythm perfected over 25 years of marriage, comedy, and quick-fire punchlines. Next up is Kyle Remnant, a trombone-playing, grad school stress-survivor turned stand-up comic whose sharp wit and relatability have made him a regional favorite and Cave Comedy Fest standout. Sarah Ahmed, a Richmond comic and new mom, brings a fresh batch of bits brewed from her experiences producing shows and navigating life’s chaos with humor and heart. Taylor Knight follows with self-deprecating charm, regional fan-favorite status, and a TikTok-meets-Cameo vibe that’s as hilarious as it is unexpected. Closing the night is headliner Noah Miller, a former Coast Guard pilot turned New York-based comedian who’s lit up stages from Gotham NYC to the DC Improv and shared the mic with comedy icons like Nikki Glaser and Jim Gaffigan. With over 50 million social media views, Noah’s grounded yet razor-sharp comedy will land perfectly—no helicopter required.
