I'm Betty Alexander and I am Daddy's Girl. My Pops was an avid "Pit Master" from Bedford Co, VA. His sauce recipes are now a family heirloom which I am honored to share with the world. A Pharmacist by trade, Dad was a true chemist in the kitchen. The first sauce he made was his favorite, a North Carolina Style vinegar-based. After a while friends and family requested that he make a sweeter sauce which he deemed "Sweet Redhead" after me, and he just kept cranking out new flavors from that point on.
