The Base Camp Summer Concert Series at Massanutten Resort features live music from three diverse bands all on one main stage! There will also be fantastic fun activities for all ages. We will have games like; Giant chess, disc golf, soccer darts, Kan Jam, cornhole, and so much more! For those that can partake, beer and wine along with food to cure what ails you will be available. This is a ticketed event.
DJ will start at 4 pm and will play between band sets.

Jerry Wimmer Presents: Bottom of the Barrel | 8:30 - 10 PM
Jerry is proud to bring these awesome musicians, friends and family members to the stage at Massanutten. With many years of performing experience between them the band plays a wide variety of music. If you ask Jerry what they plan to play Jerry’s response is “we don’t know what we’re gonna do until we do it”. Members include Tommy Howell, Chuck McNamara, John, Johnson Junior and Daniel Wimmer for this particular performance.
Strange Souls | 5 - 6 PM
The Doors Reimagined breathes new life into the catalog of one of rock’s most influential bands. The tribute act captures the essence of The Doors groundbreaking blend of rock, blues, jazz, and experimental sounds that defined the psychedelic rock genre that grew out of the late 1960's early 1970s. Since their debut in 2021, Strange Souls has quickly gained a strong following. Their performances are characterized by their blend of faithful homage and creative flair, capturing the unpredictable, chaotic energy The Doors were known for.

Totally Bowie is a dynamic rock 'n' roll tribute band that celebrates the musical legacy of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, David Bowie.
Eclipse | 8:30 - 10 PM
Eclipse the Ultimate Journey Tribute plays selections from the Classic Steve Perry era. Songs are performed with the same passion and energy as that of Journey's live shows. Audiences will absolutely find themselves dancing and singing the power ballads and high energy songs from Journey’s chart topping hits. If you love Journey, like we love Journey, you will not want to miss Eclipse the Ultimate Journey Tribute's high energy show.

Big City Band | 8:30 - 10 PM
The Big City Band is a 6-piece rockin’ country band formed in 2017. Their unique sound features gritty lead vocals fused with the smooth sound of family harmonies. Growing up the band was inspired by the traditional country music sounds of Merle Haggard and southern rock sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their hometown of Grottoes, Virginia is a small town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains thus the name, “The Big City Band”. This group has built quite a following of loyal fans known as the ‘BCB Strangers’ and has become a premiere party band in the state of Virginia. A Big City Band show features an up tempo mix from all genres of music along with original tunes that will make you dance the night away.
